At nia + fyn, female empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the power of women supporting women – creating opportunities and amplifying the creativity and strength of female designers.

Through close collaboration with women in South Africa, we celebrate craftsmanship, foster independence and build meaningful, long-term partnerships. Each piece tells the story of a woman – her vision, skill and journey.

To us, empowerment goes beyond representation. It means creating real impact by enabling opportunity and supporting meaningful, lasting impact.

Project Dyad

Founded by designer Jessika, Dyad is a Cape Town–based leather accessories brand built on the idea of balance and duality. Meaning “a union of two,” Dyad’s design approach is rooted in contrasts – light and dark, strength and softness – brought together in considered harmony. Playing with line, colour, and texture, each piece is designed to be worn either as a statement or with understated sophistication, evolving beautifully over time. Handcrafted in the brand’s Woodstock studio, Dyad reflects an ongoing journey of craftsmanship, creativity, and community, blending contemporary design with timeless functionality.

Lazuli

Lazuli is a Cape Town–produced womenswear, art, and lifestyle label defined by an effortless balance of luxury and everyday wearability. Specialising in silk, organic cotton, and lace, the brand creates timeless staple pieces with a refined yet relaxed aesthetic. Each garment is handmade by women, for women, ensuring individuality, quality, and attention to detail in every piece. With all materials and fabrics sourced locally in South Africa, Lazuli is rooted in supporting local artisans, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design that honours both fabric and form.

Lachet

Founded by Cape Town–based designer Laché Segal, Lachet reflects a thoughtful approach to modern womenswear shaped by her experience in fashion design, retail buying, and styling. Her transition from fast-paced retail to custom dressmaking fostered a deep understanding of what truly matters to customers – from fit and comfort to quality and longevity. Through Lachet, she creates timeless garments with considered details, designed beyond seasonal trends. Each piece is ethically produced in small batches in Cape Town, embodying a commitment to slow fashion and enduring design.

Iloni

Founded in 2015 by designer Madri Hopkins, Iloni is a contemporary jewellery brand shaped by curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful design. Rooted in a positive “why not?” philosophy, the brand explores innovative techniques and materials while maintaining balance, simplicity, and elegance. Meaning “joy” in Finnish, Iloni creates modern, timeless pieces that adds quiet confidence to every style, each one designed and handcrafted in a serene atelier on a Stellenbosch farm, with a focus on intentional craftsmanship and quality beyond fleeting trends.

Suikerbos

Suikerbos is a South African jewellery brand, rooted in a deep fascination with the quiet details of nature. Inspired by local landscapes and botany, its designs begin with hand-drawn observations of symmetries, spirals, textures, and organic forms found in plants, shells, and terrain, refined to balance wearability, comfort, and expressive linework. Crafted in brass or stainless steel, each piece is cut, polished, coated, and carefully assembled into delicate jewellery with an organic feel, reflecting a considered approach to design shaped by nature.

Lulasclan

Founded in 2016 by South African textile artist and designer Bonolo Chepape, Lulasclan is a Cape Town–based textile, homeware, and lifestyle brand rooted in storytelling, craft, and African contemporary design. Drawing inspiration from heritage, culture, and the emotional idea of “home,” the brand translates bold patterns and artistic mark-making into functional objects of beauty. Each piece is thoughtfully designed with a strong focus on craftsmanship, family, and community, celebrating identity, connection, and place.
